Chinggis Khaan group has recently signed a cooperation agreement with "Mongol Sekiyu" LLC to build the "Darhan Oil Refinery" and "Khovd Province Oil Refinery" projects. This agreement involves the use of modern Japanese high technology in building these oil refineries, and the investment of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). As per the agreement, the Japanese corporation Marubeni will handle the feasibility study of the Hovd province oil refinery project. The total investment will be shared between the Japanese side and Chinggis Khaan Group, with the Japanese side taking up 85% of the investment and Chinggis Khaan Group taking up the remaining 15%. The project is expected to be implemented soon.
